Q: How much does it cost to charter a private aircraft?
Generally, when chartering a Rossair Charter aircraft you will be charged for the engine time of the aircraft plus:
- Daily Pilot charge
- Overnight allowances for crew
- Crew meals and accommodation
- Landing Fees
Q: Where do you leave from?
Whilst Rossair Charter is based in Adelaide, we are able to provide aircraft charter throughout Australia. For departures from cities other than Adelaide, you will be charged the ferrying time of the aircraft from Adelaide to your departure location.
Q:Where can we go?
Rossair Charter can fly anywhere throughout Australia and beyond. The only limitations on where you can go are the suitability of airstrips and availability of fuel. Please contact us to discuss
Q: How many people can fit in an aircraft?
Rossair Charter has a variety of aircraft with different seating configurations. The following list indicates each aircraft's maximum passenger occupancy:
- Cessna Conquest - 9 passengers
- Reims F406 - 11 passengers
Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
Rossair Charter operates 24 hours, 7 days per week and aircraft can be ready with as little as 90 minutes notice subject to availability. To avoid disappointment we do encourage you to book as far in advance as possible.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, a charge of 20% of the charter quote price may apply.

Q: How much luggage can we take?
This depends upon the number of passengers on board, but generally there is an allowance of approximately 15kg per passenger.

Q: Can Rossair Charter organise airport transfers?
Yes, please let us know if you need us to organise transfers on arrival.

Q: Are there any age restrictions for passengers?
No.

Q: Are meals & refreshments provided on board?
Light snacks and refreshments are provided on board. Meals are available on request.

Q: Do we need to organise permission to land?
Rossair Charter will organise any relevant landing approvals on behalf of the client.

Q: Do you have car parking?
Yes, Rossair Charter provides car parking free of charge at its Adelaide Airport facility.

Q: Could our flight be delayed due to weather? What types of weather can cause our
flight to be delayed?
All Rossair Charter aircraft are capable of flying in all types of weather conditions. Flights may be delayed if the departure/arrival aerodrome is closed.
